I have to reply because I agree with you 110% or more. I have long thought that the post-departure speeches should be merged with the safety demo.
I am usually alseep before takeoff on morning flights, and I hate being awakend after takeoff by the announcments.
I really hate missing out on airshow and channel 9 during one of the most interesting phases of flight while the FAs blather on for 5 minutes on intl flights.
