first sign up for the matsui
the matsui require that you do not have a amex in japan to get that nice offer.

and the unique point is you will get it for free for one year. that is a really exception for amex.

if you pay 12600 yen for the other green card, and get 1000MR points and even if you have 5x points for the first month, this would only be worth the annual fee if you
make a purchase min. 1000000 YEN to get some points.

just calculate the cost per MR point.

if i missed something and the green card is free of charge forthe first year, it is a great deal
