Priceline is the way to go, try for le meridien 5* it's a great location and nice hotel. Remeber in london, like NYC, you get what you pay for in terms of room size - check the room has a/c as well, as not all do. www.lastminute.com is another resource, but less good IMHO.

|Check out the higher end hotels for breakfast if you are into hotels; much cheaper than staying there, particularly recommend the charlotte stret hotel for brekky!!

Dont forget paris is only two and a half hours away by eurostar!
