I think I remember seeing this on my boarding pass I got on Monday. It's probably just an enhancement to tell security and gate agents that you're a RR member. (Security would need to know at airports where being a RR member lets you through the elite line. AUS doesn't have an elite line, though.)

Maybe I'm not paranoid enough, but why would this be something to be "worrisome" about?
