Yup do able, I would probably get BA to advise BA Linate as depending on the time of day the security queue can be quite long.
TIP: There is a seperate security queue for flights to London which is quicker and will avoid all the terrons going to Napoli, Bari, Palermo etc.
Linate is very small and convenient, OLCI is recommended.
