BAW845_Matt - 90% of my flights are exactly as you describe. Out in the morning and back in the evening. It's a great day out.

I've taken in excess of 20 different friends with me over the past two years, all in Club Europe - certainly makes for a great diary at the end of each year!

Geneva is very easy to do. City really close, can walk around most of it in a couple of hours. Train to the airport and back. Excellent terraces lounge at GVA. Furthermore, I often find whoever I'm sat next to on the flights (if not a friend) more than makes the trip. You can meet some really interesting people, especially on the GVA trip as in Club I have met a lot of WHO and UN people on the GVA flights. You get great service onboard as it is such an important route.

Prague is good as well although a bit further and a longer day out all in all.

I'm about to BLQ in two weeks on Bank Holiday monday.

TXL (Berlin) is one of the destinations I'm planning for July/August ever since being inspired by fbgdavidson trip report from a few years ago, however Berlin was not 'cheap' in Club Europe last year.
