after my ordeal at the cto at grand central last thursday, i got some dope on this from on of the co agents. aparently, hp didn't even notify co of this stance. they just chose not to renew the contract. they then went to ewr and hired all new staffing for ticketing and reservations, once again not informing co. these new people (which the agent says are all under 21) were then sent itno the field UNTRAINED. they encountered so many problems, hp then had to do a deal with co, to supervise and train their new staff during this transition period.

unbelievable. maybe they want to be the vulture surrounding tw when it kicks, but there have got to be better ways to do this.
