I think you'll find that you get more miles from Marriott if you change your earnings preference on the website to Tesco Clubcard points!! You get 2 CC point for ever £1 (or foreign equivalent) you spend at Marriott which means 4.8 BA Miles per £1. Courtyard by Marriott is only 1 point per £1.
This is usually a better deal than getting BA Miles directly for your stay.
