Actually, it is not a huge deal. I never make my status by segments anyway. I have the feeling that most of my previous trips had different flight numbers. SFO-BKK is now Flt 27. It apparently used be be: SFO-NRT - Flt 27, then NRT-BKK the continuation of NW 1 (LAX-BKK).
