Re the Cavalieri: If you're a Diamond (I think you are), you'll probably be on the 7th or 8th floor. I think the 8th is where the suites are (good luck!), but the 7th is also where the lounge is. Be sure to ask for a Rome View room, and don't touch the mini-bar -- it's free in the Lounge.

You can have brekkies in the lounge (we did), but you are also entitled to restaurant b'fast; certainly at the "basement" place (very nice, very nice spread), but also, I think, at the Pergolo rooftop restaurant. MMmmm!. It should still be open in October, and the view and general ambience is not to be missed.
