I will be starting my 3rd Egypt-orginated RTW in June in Cairo (ending 1, starting another). I visited the Khan al-Khalili bazaar last year. Lots of fun, and I felt very safe even at night. I think I will be a bit more low-key this visit. Maybe just stay in hotel for the day and go to pool, etc. But then, I don't live my life in fear. I'm off to Thailand on Wednesday; they had bombing at airport in southern Thailand last week.
I am just going to go about my business. And hope for the best -- not that I'm going to Bagdad this year or anything.
I think this ABSOLUTELY should be posted on this site. We need to be aware.
