easier way, is do it on travelocity.co.uk. at the end of the booking, press HOLD reservation, but remember to put in BAEC number alongside your name.

go immediately into MMB on ba.com, and the flight shows, even though only on hold!

you can then cancel off the travelocity one - they email you link to get back into it easily, or just leave it to cancel off
