I was upgraded yesterday when I used the on-line check in for my IAH to ORD flight today. This morning I received an EUA for today's flight and my return Thursday.

edited to add that I'm on an "X" fare. Since I got EUA'd for my Thursday return, the low fare theory does not seem to apply. YYMV
