But, I thought you all might like to know that there are some incredibly cheap fares around at the moment.

Just booked a HDY-KUL flight for 230 THB (thats about 8 AUD) for later this month. There is a 500 THB departure tax, but it still beats the pants off Jet* et al.

Also, booked a SIN-HDY flight on Tiger Airways for SGD 14.98 plus taxes.

OK, so HDY isn't the flavour of the month, but it's damn cheap (and still reasonably safe).
