Talk about inconsiderate!

Just a quick story from my travel logs. In August of 2000, I went to the Fiji Islands for a two week holiday (although Fiji was recovering from a coup during that time). 2nd week was spent on a live aboard boat scuba diving (heaven). One of my esteemed dive colleagues shared with me that she was give a very silly (my opinion) request by an FA on an Air Pacific flight (LAX to NAN) to put her seat up so the child PAX behind her could eat some grapes!

Okay. Well, she opted to not comply with the FA's request (this was, after all, pre-911 days) and ALL of the FAs on this 10 hour flight summarily shunned her for the rest of the flight and provided her NO SERVICE.

OMG!
I have a secret fear. That Sharper Image will develop some sort of telecoping rod that PAX can use to block the PAX in front of them from reclining their seat backs. Do you think this is possible?

I hope not!
