Actually you enter the building from either 42nd or 41st street where one would pull up by car if you have luggage.Then take an elevator up to the lobby from the entanceway ground floor .Then take another elevator around the corner from the front desk to the guest floors.On a busy day or if you are in a rush it can all get very frustrating. On my last visit the hotels elevators shut down which meant stairs
As a Diamond I never got a suite let alone a high floor corner room
I'm sure someone has but that's the way it goes.
My insider told me they have a lot of regulars and they get the upgrades more often then not.
