Full Coach Fares -- When traveling on a full Y or Northwest -26/-27 fare, you can confirm your upgrade after midnight two days prior to departure on flights operated by Continental Airlines, Northwest Airlines and America West Airlines.
Discount Fares -- When traveling on a fare other than full Y or Northwest -26/-27, you can upgrade after midnight the day of departure on flights operated by Continental Airlines and Northwest Airlines. On flights operated by America West Airlines and Copa Airlines, based on available seating, you can upgrade at check-in within two hours of your flight departure.
