Could not agree more, don`t like to be treated like a complete fool, I am used to that enough while transiting at Schiphol or calling FD...
It has been a constant devaluation of the perks, even if the Web@wards and free upgrades flying NW are still leading the industry...
First the extra allocation of award seats was gone ( WHY ? ) Did the load factors rise that dramatically upfront ? Seriously doubt it...
Followed by the lounge access while not flying KLM, both devaluations had been communicated in good old KLM fashion, absolutely sub par. The lady at HAM copied me the letter from KLM, where the new rules are stated, would have appreciated the same one, it is clear and simple…
And now the new program, where indeed one has to search for quite some time finding a new benefit ( 5 k less for PE would be one ) In addition to that somebody in Paris or Schiphol must have smoked some serious pot while putting the Hawaiian Islands in the same category as the Caribbean, so now a 5240 miles journey from Bonaire over to Hawaii ( in that case ) via IAH would cost 15000 miles in Y OW !!
