In my analysis, for my personal flying patterns , and what level of status I can achieve on the trips i am likely to do, versus the perks from those levels, either BA or BD are better for me... YMMV because it's a very personal assessment. And when one starts comparing both the perks and the treatment of top tier elites within programmes, I could equally argue that both BA and LH are better to be top tier in than FB... but this is basing it a large part on what it was to be (recently) a PE in FD - i sincerely hope it will be better in the new programme.

Two years ago, I would have argued until I was blue in the face that FD was the best FFP out there - now, it has nothing that really distinguishes it from the opposition, principally because of the erosion simonsmith talks about - it isn't really that the others have caught up
