I would say that if you can requalify for 2006 before the new program kicks in, it might pay to do so.

You'd be shooting for 75,000 level miles rather than the new target of 70,000, but if you're counting on long-haul WBC, you'd get the 100% COS level bonus as opposed to the 50% under Flying Blue.

I think once you requalify, you've got it even though the rules will change in June. I'd think the rules change would have to be prospective only; I can't believe any rational airline ( . . . I know, I know . . . ) would go back and retroactively devalue the level miles earned earlier in the year.
