Been scouting for weeks on AP.com for an NH flight from NRT to HKG but nothing comes up everytime... i mean the entire availability is blank on the 14-day search page. Finally decided to call AP and got the booking right away (wasn't on the exact dates but hey... what do you expect). Anyhow, I asked the AP agent how come the flights aren't showing on AP.com despite the fact that they were available. She said that some of the * alliance flights requiring paper tickets will not show up on AP.com. So those who are thinking of saving $25 by booking online, you might re-think that strategy given the greater possibiity of availability when you call.
