One very nice thing in AKL is that the First/Business/Star Gold check-in is through glass doors. Very nice - couches and very spacious. Then up through a dedicated (seperate room again) security check into the concourse.

You'll get lounges on the international flights - which NZ has some of the best in the world - especially in SYD.
