Ritz-Carlton Washington: waiver of minimum-stay requirement?
We're taking another trip to D.C. next month, and we'd like to stay at the Ritz-Carlton Washington (the one on 22nd Street NW).
We'll be arriving on a Thursday and spending one night in D.C. Then, on Friday morning, we'll be checking out and heading down into Virginia. We'll be spending Friday night there. Then, we're heading back to D.C., to spend Saturday night and Sunday night there.
If I try to a book a room from Thursday night to Monday morning, the Web site shows availability.
However, if I try to book a room from Thursday night to Friday morning, the Web site does not show availability.
I'm assuming that there's some kind of minimum-stay restriction in place. However, since we'll be spending Thursday night, Saturday night, and Sunday night, do you think that the hotel would waive it? Is this something than any reservations agent could do, or would I need to speak to someone in management?
