I appreciate the input. I left out the totally weather related delays last night... including waiting 90 minutes for a lift truck to get to our gate so the tail section could be inspected, and 90 minutes waiting on the tarmac for a re-route without a single update from the pilot.

That was my worst experience with AA or AE, so I will consider myself lucky.

I do need to add that the AE agents at GRK are absolutely the best anywhere, they have by boarding pass printed out waiting for me if they see I am running late and have not checked in on-line, and sent me a get well card last month when my appendix ruptured in Atlanta.
