I've polled a couple of others when on-board and they say they have heard it as well. I'm hoping that this post will provide me with some info to forward to Bose Corp. tech assistance. When I called they said no one had ever mentioned this problem. I know this can't be the case.

It's funny that you mention this --I too experience the problem on most 767 systems with CO ...it's like a pulsing that's happening in the background. I don't notice it on 777 though. It's almost as if you hear a gear turning or interfering with the audio coming from the master IFE system.
