I have been told today that UA issued paper tickets for Island Air award flights and that I will receive them in about a week.

The service center fee was charged, and the miles taken from the account, 4 days before the tickets were issued. I have been calling every day and getting a different story as to why the tickets were not issued yet.

Yesterday I was told that the UA-AMEX link had gone down during the paper ticketing process and I had to give my credit card details again to pay the security fee.

Does anyone know, since I will have UA ticket stock, but Island Air flights, can I just make changes with Island Air, or will I have to go back through the UA ticket process for changes? I was told the days and flights are changable with no charge.
