I'm curious which Southwest Airlines employees you've encountered that have "sided" with management?
WN LUVS U, myself and others have taken time to attempt to explain why the company might have made such an obviously controversial decision.
I would submit there is a difference between "siding" with management and accepting the limitations of our power/authority as reality. There comes a point when we have to accept that as frontline employees, most decisions are made above our pay grades...it is our job to make the implementation as painless as possible. If we had the power to change things, perhaps we would...the plain unvarnished truth is that this is out of our hands.
In spite of the countless decisions that are made over which we have no control.... we continue to come to work day in and day out and do our best to make your Southwest flying experience as pleasant as possible. If the loss of the online booking bonus renders all of the effort moot, I guess we'll just have to live with that.
