me thinks that from WN's perspective, it is great timing. With their fuel hedging strategy and low cost of operations, no legacy airline or LCC can compete on a cost basis regularly. AND most folks do buy lowest priced tickets, so WN may not suffer. But they have made me re-think, I will look at other airlines on a regular basis and not WN exclusively as I did for the past 3 years!

Lets see how it shakes out.
