Hello,
I might have to travel on Air China later this year as the guest of a well known Chinese University. I see that according to this page, discounted fares only earn 70% credit (better than nothing however).

Can anyone tell me the procedure to get them to credit those miles to my UA account? Since I won't be paying for or booking this ticket, I can't do what I normally do when flying with a UA partner - give them my MP# at the time of booking. Can I still give Air China my MP# when I check-in for the flight, or will I have to mail my receipts and boarding passes to UA to get my miles?
