AS is not a partner airline in QFF, but QF is a partner airline in the AS FF plan. It is not a symmetrical relationship (AS got the best of that deal by far). QF partners are listed on the QFF website at http://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/dyn/.../airline#jump1

Are you sure that you are getting 60 SCs? The plan changes May 25, and you may earn 0 SC and 0 miles depending on the AA fare basis; other fares continue to earn but you'd better check the fare basis against the QF list, it isn't well coordinated with non-QF fares. I'd never use QFF on a discount AA flight without checking twice that it is an eligible fare in the plan then in effect; pretty good chance of being surprised otherwise.
