I just did this yesterday...I had no access to a printer so a friend checked in for me online and faxed the boarding passes to my hotel. It was then that I saw the terms on the boarding pass that faxes were not acceptable.

Went to the airport kiosk, slid my RR card and it pulled up my itinerary and showed that I had checked in. There was an option next to it that said Reprint Boarding pass. I pressed on this and it printed a boarding pass for me, same group, same sequence with the only difference being an "R" next to the sequence number for reprint(?).
