Yep, no viable alternative...it's pretty evident. If someone like ****** who hate gays so much, can't force himself to vote for Harper, it's quite telling.

But if Belinda Stronach were the leader of the Conservatives, then many people's mind may change, including myself. I think she has the right balance of being fiscally conservative and socially responsible. In the last Conservative convention, she actually stood up to deliver an unpopular speech, asking her fellow conservatives to reach out as opposed to being narrow. That showed she got guts. Unfortunately, it would take Harper a few more bombs before he finally understands why he never had a job.
