Hi All,

I just returned from the first nights festivities at the HUGE cigarman/Continental DO in Houston!

Tonights dinner and entertainment was graciously provided by CO, making this the first "official" FT DO that was sponsored by an airline!

Tonights attendees were able to meet Randy Petersen, Starwood Lurker and 5 executives from Continental Airlines, including CEO Larry Kellner!!!!

Randy addressed the crowd of over 150 FT'ers, thanking everyone for attending and thanking cigarman and CO for organizing and sponsoring the event. Randy also proclaimed this the "Best FT DO Ever"!!!

Larry also addressed the gathering and then mingled with the crowd and patiently fielded questions for over 2 hours! What made this so amazing is that the "real" Q&A session is TOMORROW!

As with all FT DO's, it was a real treat to meet my fellow FT'ers face to face and hopefully make some new off-line friends.

Tomorrow, we are being treated to a tour of IAH Terminal E and then a 1.5 hour Presentation/Q&A Session with Larry. This will be followed by another meal sponsored by by CO!

Kudos to cigarman for all of his hard work in pulling this off and many thanks to CO for their generousity!
