Or is it for real? Just for once I'm on BMI from T1 LHR today and, remembering the "open doors" lounge policy I headed for the pavillion and on into the First lounge where after scanning my boarding card and gold card I was welcomed. Later, on re-entering after a pointless airport wander, the main lounge desk at the front said that the policy only gave gold card holders access to terraces and not to the first lounge when travelling on non one world airlines.
Forget the contradicting staff - I just want to know what the rules really say!! Anyone? Lyndsay?
