Rx quality creams are the way to go
In my humble experience, Stephen King when he wrote "It" had it right -- anything that is powerful enough to work has side effects.
I know plenty of Oil of Olay users who you would not want to look like, as it is the cheap fad skin cream down here. It does nothing that genetics wouldn't do anyway. If you have damage and need change, then a prescription Rx like Retin-A, Renova, etc. are the way to go.
I hope I am not an evil person if I reveal that both Retin-A and Renova are available inexpensively and over-the-counter in Mexican border towns catering to visiting Americans who don't feel like paying $100 to a dermatologist for a prescription to put cream on their face.
For many years I was able to pass for substantially younger than my true age, and I even had a private detective agency describe me as being ten years younger than my true age, but alas I am not willing to give up being outdoors to look young. I want to live life not just be photographed living life, and time has now caught up with me. To a certain extent life is about trade-offs.
