Thanks for the link, o2k, but, to tell you the truth, I am now even more confused than ever.

When I was a girl I thought I had absolutely horrible acne. Now when I look back at my pictures, I can't see any spots, so maybe I was suffering from teenage dramatization of relatively minor random outbreaks, which were still very real to me. I still little get eruptions from time to time. It seems so wrong to still get zits at the same time that one is worrying bout wrinkles at 60+.

My skin was oily and I did regularly visit a dermatologist. When I first started using Frances Denney products, my skin improved dramatically. My then dermatologist said, "Hey if it works it works. Keep using it". The products then disappeared from the market.

When I bought Murad products from an infommercial, my then and current dermatologist said I was nuts. Now Murad is one of the primary brands they sell in the dermatology store at the hospital. Go figure.

I don't know how I got suckered into the Re-Nutriv Ultimate line. I am very happy with the condition of my skin, and it does come in pretty packages, but much of their schpeel has to be a hype.

I am now experimenting with much less expensive Avon and Signature "A" Over 40 products and can really see improved tone and decreased lines. Obviously, I need to do some serious investigation here.

OBTW, ScottC, you should check out E-bay. You can buy LaTherapie products there for about 1/2 the price of the Re-Nutriv Ultimate Lifting Cream.
Perhaps you have the Re-Nutriv products confused with something else. Neither Nordstrom nor Dillards can offer Re-Nutriv gifts. Those gifts are exclusive to Neiman Marcus in the U.S.

For better or worse, we don't have a Neiman Marcus here in Seattle. I do, however, get calls from clerks in Chicago, Tampa, Portland and Dallas, whenever there is a "special".

Any other articles that tell the straight scoop, would be greatly appreciated.
