Re-Nutiv is hardly the most expensive there is, it is the kind of stuff they try to sell to old ladies at the Nordies and Dillards cosmetics department by tricking them into wanting the "gift bag" full of $2 samples.

With Estée Lauder, most of their products (like Origins, Aveda etc...) are more marketing than true science. No company with that many brands can produce true top of the line products.

I've been using products by LaTherapie for the past year, at over $1000 per 3 months it isn't the kind of stuff I like leaving behind in a first class toilet on CX. They don't make much of it, it doesn't stay good for years like most Lauder stuff does, and I can only get it off the web or at the high-class spa's I visit in London, Vegas and a few other locations.

LaTherapie is without a doubt the best stuff I have ever had, my regime adapts with the season, and I have to spend a very un-manly 15 minutes twice a day working with it. If you can afford the $$$ then absolutely go for it, nothing I have ever tried before had these results, and certainly nothing the Avon lady would try and sell me gets even close.
