It is a decent mag - 3 perfect days is the best part, and even though I can't say I've done an actual "3 perfect day" itinerary, I've used bits and pieces to my liking.

I would usually just get some coffee down the street with a roll

and then start the walk, $40 more in my pocket.
What I used to like in another airline magazine (AS) was the personal column from the head of the airline - this was until Bill Ayer turned it into a marketing opporunity almost every month. Frank and honest talk from the chief, and/or a personal story, comment, etc. was always a nice touch. I think this would be a good touch for UA.
