If it's the Hilton NY on 6th ave, you can also check in at the executive lounge upstairs. I don't remember the floor number, but they tend to be better at upgrading Hilton Hhonors members than the ground level front desk.
Yes, its the one on 6th Ave. Thanks for letting me know about the check in at the executive lounge. I will try that if I hit a brick wall on the ground level.
I have also booked a PL reservation at the Grand Hyatt in DC following the NY trip. However, I am not at the elite level there, will they still upgrade ?
