The Sheraton Suites San Diego gave nice Gold benefits. I was given choice of view and free water and the usual 4pm check-out option. The manager also wrote a letter for all Golds listing the benefits of being gold at the hotel (free water, room upgrades/choice, 4pm checkout). On my last day there, we went down to Tijuana and we spent more time there than we thought we were going to. We were not going to make it back to the hotel by 4. I called the hotel and said that we in Mexico and not going to be back in time and the first thing they asked was if we were ok, or if we needed help getting out of Mexico. She then said "You are Gold anyway, so whenever you come back is fine." So, long story short, the Sheraton Suites San Diego was good for Gold.
