Thanks for all the tips. I bought a bunch of mugs and tee shirts!

Question: All the mugs say NOT dishwasher safe. Is that really true? I've never known a mug made these days to be un-dishwasher safe. Is this just a cover their a** thing or do they really fall apart in the dishwasher?
