I just returned from Boston, and I didn't hear about the incident until now. I'm very astonished by the event. I hope EVA Air is accomodating all the injured and the people affected by the incident.

This is probably the first serious turbulence accident on EVA. I vaguely recall another incident on EVA many many years back on flight 12 from TPE-LAX that occured over Okinawa.
