At least it was after the caviar service. Anyway, I had to hold my champagne and water glasses with outstreched arms for about 15 minutes to keep them from tipping over.

I've noticed this turbulence on practically all my eastbound trans-pacific flights (ex-TPE/SEL/HKG/MNL) to the west coast of N. America (LAX/SFO/YVR) as well as HNL, and it always occurs when I have food in front of me.
