I have already made Gold on CO this year and have the opportunity to make Platinum if I desire (otherwise will go for Gold again on DL). However, I fly NW quite a lot and wonder if the 48 hour rule still applies (in which CO Platinums can only get upgraded on NW 48 hours in advance on discount tickets.) In other words, what are the real benefits to CO plats?

I thought this was changing but don't know for sure.
