I am sorry you had that problem. I've had a similar experience. Frustrating.

I've had mixed results with the platinum line (maybe 30 percent of the time) in either getting a person who was ignorant of the the elite rules, or was a bit impertinent.

What gives with the CO elite lines? Someone once posted in a thread about improvements to CO, that they wanted a REAL elite line. I haven't thought much about this until recently. And how does CO plat line compare to the competition? Opinions?

From this board, recently: severe uninformed problem with res agents and a supervisor, with elite desiring to purchase a full Y fare on a sold out flight--gold/plat benefit. I've also been given 2 different answers regarding internationl reward travel (3 say yes, 3 say no): can plat book outside 30 days for a int. saver award? I've been given different answer/service regarding the booking of exit row seats as a gold/plat: yes, no, or "okay I'll let you."

On the other hand, there has been some amazing service as well. Was looking for a better seat out of EWR--so on my third call...get an agent to look at my seat, and immediately she suggested all the possible exit row and bulkhead seating, telling me all that was open, as if she already knew the choice seats. I didn't have to ask whether this or that row is open--knowing the choice seats myself.

Another experience: when the F seats had not opened up, the agent took down my res number, and said she would upgrade my wife and me in the early AM so we wouldn't have to call back. Sure enough, we we in First when we woke up.
