B727 or DC-9 more than likely. Don't think there would have been DC-8 demand on that route, and definitely not the 767/747/L1011.

Not really anything else in the AC fleet that could have made it.

My first flight = AC B727 YQR-YYZ-YUL and back in around 1982/83 or so.
