I'm glad to hear others voicing their opinion on the new WBC seats. You don't walk off the plane as rested or as comfortable with the new seats. Kudos to the entertainment and service but somebody missed the boat on giving the ok with these seats. I thought I was just being a bit picky after saying something to this effect to my wife after a transpac flight. A new, upgraded seat should lie as comfortable (if not more) than the seat your replacing. I believe the guys in the ivory tower at NWA sat in them for 5 or 10 minutes, was captivated by the video, massage etc. and simply didn't plant there butt in the seat and try to get comfortable enough to sleep. They would have experienced the same 'slippage' we are discussing. I am always amazed when something like this is overlooked. Wasn't there somebody (A lieutenant in the chain of command) with enough gonads to say "hey, I can't get real comfortable in this thing". Give the 747 and the old WBC seats any day.
