There were A343s with two class configuration and three class configuration and there are and will be refurbished A343 with 2 and 3 class configuration, each with new bizclass.
On MUC-Lax, they just change the plane to a 2class conf with new bizclass i.e. 44C/222Y (34V).
MUC-JFK, MUC-ORD already have and MUC-BOS, MUC-IAD will have new bizclass and FC on an 343: 8F/36C/197Y (A34).

I profoundly apologize for my ignorance. LH 429 CLT-MUC, which is the intercon to take from PBI to Germany as long as you want to do it on a 340, will indeed keep F in the fututre. Lucky east coast, poor west. Please forgive me my distorted west coast perspective.
Then again, in the past (until March 26, 2005), this flight operated with only new C, no F. This might have contributed to my lack of better knowledge.
