Apparently so--even though they know they may end up IDBing you, they'd prefer it to be a VDB situation. I agree that he'd have given the $$$ vouchers, but I was for some reason concerned that I would be in to work 2 1/2 hours late by taking the bump (this was a job I was already about to quit--why I ws concerned and missed out on a large $$$ voucher for an overnight VDB, I don't know)
