I know from firsthand experience that you can have two different credit cards from Citibank at the same time and get a bonus for the second card (after previously getting a bonus on the first). The only caveat is that I had had one card for many years before applying for the second card this year, and one is a Gold Mastercard and one is a Platinum Mastercard.
